Starlet Franz is a dynamic learning and development executive with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise-wide training strategy, workforce transformation, and talent development across healthcare, technology, telecommunications, financial services, and media industries. Known for connecting learning to real business outcomes, she has built and scaled high-impact programs, modernized learning ecosystems, and led cross-functional teams of up to 60 professionals while managing multimillion-dollar portfolios.

 

Most recently serving as Vice President of Content Operations at Clarion Events, Starlet leads a diverse organization spanning editorial, media, learning, and publishing. However her passion is being creative as an instructional designer. She has been instrumental in launching innovative, SaaS-based learning platforms, integrating learning into commercial strategy, and driving measurable gains in productivity, engagement, and revenue.

 

Throughout her career, Starlet has partnered with executive leadership to redesign onboarding programs, implement enterprise LMS and LXP systems, and lead large-scale change initiatives—including global transformations and SAP-CRM implementations. Her background includes leadership roles at organizations such as Cardinal Health, Intuit, Verizon, and Acuative, where she consistently delivered impactful learning solutions tied to performance and growth. She is also an active member of the Association for Talent Development and has held leadership roles within the organization.

 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Starlet brings passion, energy, and heart to everything she does. She is an avid traveler who has explored destinations around the world—including Mauritius, Dubai, India, Colombia, the Philippines, Germany, England, and 42 U.S. states—embracing new cultures and perspectives along the way.

A devoted dog lover, Starlet enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Leo, and cherishes her role as an aunt to her nephew Dylan and niece Breanna—whether that’s playing Wii, watching Disney movies, or sharing her love of animation. She also has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and water, finding balance and inspiration in nature.

 

Committed to giving back, Starlet actively supports her community through volunteer work with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Club. Whether in her career or personal life, she believes in working hard, making a difference, and fully enjoying the rewards of a life lived with purpose and passion—earning her the occasional (and well-deserved) nickname of “superhero.”
